This company after almost 12 years, a loss of a job, health issues, for my husband and myself, many other circumstances that can not of been helped
we have been treated horribly. We were forced into either filing a chapter 7 or chapter 13 to keep our home. We decided to file 13 and it is not working either not satisfying the trustee or the mortgage company. The payments keep going up and up and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Not 1 cent went towards the principle of the mortgage. We were harrassed about having home owners insurance which we did but they insisted we did not for months and months. And now currently we do not and the SPS supposdily is paying for home owners insurance at a total of $3000.00 a month and my insurance would of been only $700 a year. Also fee's late fees attorney fees there's and ours. They have made it impossible to keep this home. We are now surrendering the house to the mortgage company and have to begin looking for another place to live. My attorney fee's keep going up. The trustee payments keep going up we have no other option. Currently my husband is on unemployment, this company has no compassion for anyones circumstances whether it is a health situation or a loss of a job. 8 years fighting with this company re doing our chapter 13 to satisfy this company. There is no satisfying this company. So I am about to lose the home my grandparents left to me because of umfortunate circumstances beyond our control and the loss of my husbands job after 17 years. We went through our savings paying for perscriptions that were needed everymonth my husband has asthma and is on 4 different meds and i am suffering from depression and anxiety attacks and I am also on 4 meds so that was about $1000.00 a month which wiped out our savings. They did not care about that either. Mortagage company or the trustee said that is so unfortunate but does not change the mortgage payment history. Well that is why my husband and i decided to surrender the home. This is a very old home i dont know why they are not willing to deal with us or make an offer that would satisfy both parties within reason they just do not want to hear anything. All the money we have paid over the years i have no accounting for they have not issued any proof of me paying anything after all these years thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. And not getting anywhere. I have heard on the news this evening about the two mortgage companies who are forcing people into foreclosure and they are the ones i am involved with SPS is the current mortgage holder I think. You just never know
