I don't know where to begin. Firstly, I made my Loan Modification back in August and paid as agreed the first 3 payments. When the 4th payment was due of the large amount, I didn't know what to do. So I made another payment and two days later called Wells Fargo.
I was then told that my loan was to begin modification and someone would be calling me. I then told the CS agent that I had already sent in a payment. She said I didnt have to and they would just keep the funds there or return it. Yet, they went ahead and cash the check which I had stopped payment on.
Then the following week I called to check my status because of a letter I received canceling my loan modification.in that conversation, I told the CS agent that I received a letter stating that they had denied my loan modification. She said it was because they tried to call me and I had not responded. I told her I was calling the day after the phone call, which was the next day. She said because I didnt return the call that day that is why they denied it.
I was so double confused; I didnt know what to think. I told her about my confusion and she said I had to redo the loan modification. I did and the first payment was due Dec. 14th. I made the payment at the end of November, and they returned the check because they said I sent too much money. I sent an extra $42.
I asked if I could resend the correct amount they wanted since it was December 6th and December 14th hadnt arrived yet. They said no because the modification was broken and I would have to start another one. This is getting frustrating more and more, and they wont let me speak with a supervisor. Three times I asked to speak with one.
They suggested I started a new repayment plan and start my payment in January. I dont know what to do, please someone who been in this situation suggest something.
