I received the early termination fee as well as everyone else here. I was told by Suntrust, it is not their fault, they cannot do anything about it, and they can't give me a copy of the program guide - that I should have it - and if I lost it, too bad. Customer service reps were useless - they direct you to a phone number that no one returns a phone call - all you can do is leave your info and hope someone calls you back - BUT if you terminate early - no matter what the reason - you get charged $500. I was never told of the early termination fee nor was I told I was signing a contract for 3 years - apparently the rep does not need to tell you this info. And for Suntrust to be involved with this company is unbelievable - I think they are just as guilty-for being involved with a company that is so shady and and does not return phone calls, and does business this way. And they have NO response to it - and do not care. I have been able to get away with just being charge a 12.50 a month fee until I can figure out how to get out of this - but if inactive for 6 months - you get charged for it as well - the $500- is there anything in the agreement about inactivity - and being charged $500??? Has anyone looked into that - and by the way - I have lost my program guide - which no one is able to provide a copy to me - I am furious and cannot believe this is legal!!!
