I was contacted by Mainstream Financial to use their loan service to consolidate my debt into one monthly payment with a low interest rate and improve my credit score using their secured loan service. I had to come up with $612 to secure the loan and send to their security company. After I sent the money they contacted me saying the amount I paid to secure the loan was mistakenly quoted to me and should have only been given to me as a returning customer and that since I was a first time customer I would have to pay an additional $600 some dollars in order to release the loan.
I told them there was no way I would send them another penny and that I have a contract stating the amount of the security fee and that I would just prefer to not do business with them. I was told my money would be refunded to me within 3-4 weeks... It's been 5 weeks now and I've not receieved one cent of my money back. I have repeatedly sent e-mail after e-mail and made phone call after phone call and have not received one acknowledgement to any of my attempts at finding out where my money is.
If I had it to do all over again, I would never trust these people again and recommend you not trust them either!
