Back at the end of August I was looking for a loan to help in my son's college expenses and also to consolidate some of my own. I went on-line and was subsequently contacted by Amy Parker at DCM Financial. We discussed the possibility of a loan and she faxed to me paperwork for a 4 year - $8,000 loan which looked very legitimate. After submitting to them $976.50 for and "insurance deposit" I was contacted by Amy telling me that since my credit was less than perfect —I needed to send another $976.50 to secure this loan. I did this deposit again ($1,953.00) however, no money was ever deposited. Actually I was told at first the person sending me the money had a "family emergency" and it would be the next day. Then she called me and told me that the company loaning me the money had gone bankrupt and I needed to send another $800.00 to secure a loan with another company. Unfortunately I did this for a totall of $2,753.00 and once again after numerous phone calls and false information on deposits to my account I never received the money. I then contacted Amy Parker at extension 305 and I basically flipped out at that time and was told my money would be refunded in 30 days. Well needless to say — again after numerous follow-up calls - it never was. Now when you call the number - 1-888-857-7029 — it is "not activated". Unfortunately I should have learned earlier that this was a scam — but you know when you trust people and just think when you hear about this — it can't happen to you — well it did and it really sucks because now not only didn't I get the loan I am out over $2,700.00 which I didn't have in the first place. A huge lesson learned... Do not use dcm financial/lpd resources — please — it isn't worth it!!!
