Opened account three years back from an advertisement of 4.99% rate for LIFE and NO annual fees. Account has always been paid on time. Six months ago company started changing my rate from 4.99 to 7.99 and then to 9.99. I had had enough and paid off the account in full with an over payment, which they did refund back to me. My account then had a zero balance. With out notice or any billing information, they charged a 20.00 annual fee to my account. September they sent me a late notice showing information of the 20.00 annual late fee, plus 30.00 in late charges and 2.03 in interest. I have called the company to complain, been disconnected twice, been given the run around at which point I have requested to speak to a supervisor who told me the charges would be taken off and the account would be closed. Still waiting for confirmation of closed account.
