Under investigation by many insurance commissioners and attorney's general across the country, IL And Coconut Creek, FL and Florida

The reported entities are all either wholly-owned subsidiaries of or contracted with Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL), located at 1275 Milwaukee Avenue, Glenview, IL. You should send a copy of all complaints to GTL at that address, certifed mail. Then send your actual complaint to your state attorney general's consumer protection unit and your state insurance commissioner's unauthorized entities investigation unit.

GTL will try to pass the buck to Vantage America Solutions, which shares the same address with GTL, but claims to be totally separate. GTL will try to claim no responsibility, but if the AG's and Insurance Departments get enough complaints GTL will have to explain.

The head guy at National Benefit Consultants explained to me that the different people from all over the country who gave the same story must all be disgruntled and somehow got together to lie about his company. What a coincidence that they all gave the same story as is posted in your pages.

I myself made a personal cold call to NBC / CHBA and spoke with a Robert Alexander, who gave me exactly the same spiel I had heard from many consumers. Vantage America Solutions then attempted to cover it up during their "investigation".

The product they are selling is primarily a worthless "discount card", but they WILL present it as an actual insurance policy for health insurance. They will also debit your bank or credit card account endlessly and will not be available to answer phone calls, instead providing you an answering machine that takes a message for them to screen. They don't call back, therefore you can never cancel the contract.

The only way to put pressure on them is to pull the covers off of the insurance company that is making the profits from this (GTL) and start making your complaints to them and to the Illinois Attorney General and Insurance Department. As long as they can hide behind the front organizations and rake in the bucks, the misrepresentations will continue. I suggest you "Google" all the above named organizations and others that will come up in the process, then study the connections between them.
