Okay, after reading through many of the complaints about this Mafia Mortgage 'company' of vultures I've had it! It seems that we are the forgotten in this war, we are alone. I've read many rebuttals from too many people who seem to think that we are making this all up, that this abuse is all in our heads! These people need to wake up and realize that Green Tree Financial is a bully and we are the ones being bullied! It's a sad day when my local bank down the street wants my money more than my property and is willing to work things out should I fall on hard times, but when a multi-billion dollar company decides that bullying tactics and harassment are the only ways to get things done or they are more than willing to come out and take your home! They actually WANT to take your home!
Well, enough! I don't see any attorney's coming to our aid any time soon, oh yeah, they're the ones cowering in the corner over there, that dark one! So, a new 'weapon' in this 'war' on GT, EMAIL! Email ALL your local and state elected officials, don't forget your state governor too, about this company, make sure to give them this web site and the name of the company to look for and don't foget about your story too. It seems that since the attorneys won't help us that it's gonna take an act of congress, senate, all the state attorney generals offices, even local elected officials to put a stop to this abuse and change the laws that regulate how mortgage companies are allowed to do business! Email campaigns have worked in the past for many different reasons, why should this one be any different? Aren't you a registered voter? We have the right to vote for the same individuals we are now asking to help us in this. Even send out emails to friends and family members warning them about GT. If you send out 10 emails to 10 friends, they in turn send out 10 emails each to 10 more, see where this is going? Soon it will spread and maybe that will even put a dent in GT pocket book!
I've heard that foreclosure is on the rise in this country, I wonder how many of that is from GT and its holdings? What percentage of that is from Hurricane Katrina where many lived in mobile homes or modulars that were washed away?
