Cash Call: unsympathetic if you fall on hard times. Won't make reasonable arrangments

I have been a customer of Cash Call since October. I have to admit that it was a big mistake to borrow from them. At the time, I thought that I was about to get a divorce, and I needed the money right away. At any rate, this month, I was unable to make my payment.

My husband lost his job in February, we split up for a couple of months, and my finances simply spiraled out of control. I asked for one more week with regard to my payment and I was also willing to set up an ACH. I was told that I could not make arrangements and would be considered a default because I had missed thirty days.

Grant it, my payment would be 36 days late and I would be paying the current payment on the same day, but Mrs. Randall, my account representative, very arrogantly told me that decisions were being made on defaulted accounts that evening and I'd better get the 5065.00 that I owed right away. She was not able to tell me what the next step was or offer any real explanation to why we couldn't just set up an arrangement to take the double payment on July 6, which is a week away from today.

This company is unrealistically unfair. They should not be able to offer loans to people if they are not going to be willing to work with them if something comes up. I'm not even trying to get out of paying. I just needed another week to get my payment in and I was willing to set up an ACH so that it could automatically be deducted from my account.

Once again, I truly regret ever getting the loan, but I have every intention of paying it. I just needed a little grace this month. This company truly is a legal loansharking agency and should be stopped. I'm hoping that a class action suit is filed against them, and I'll be the first to participate.
