I just purchased my credit report from CreditReport.com and reviewed all three reports. Noticed my credit scores and decided to contact my bank for a small loan for our upcoming vacation. Applied for the loan over the phone and when my bank called me back, they asked what I thought my credit score was. I told them the number I obtained from this report (Experian) and they snickered. My bank rep told me the actual credit score which was approximately 50 points LOWER than what CreditReport.com reports.
I contacted CreditReport.com about this situation. The representative VERY RUDE! I asked for a refund due to the discrepancy and she started telling me a bunch of crap about various types of credit scores and this is just one of the many scores out there.
All in all, no refund was given. Please do not use this company. I wish I would have checked with my bank first instead of wasting my money with them. Check with your bank first!
