For no reason B of A jacked my interest to extortion rates, wanting $87.00 finance charges a month and $128 minumum on a small $4000 balance, to keep it from getting paid off quick.
They gave me bait-and-switch terms to transfer a balance from Merrick Bank (a loan shark monster of 30% and up). This bank charged me a phony fee to retaliate the transfer, then reporrted it late to the credit bureaus.
Bank Of America saw that, and immediately jumped on the "universal default" ripoff, as an excuse to be a worse loan shark than Merrick. I didn't know banks had been granted legal robbery of consumers. I will NEVER do business with credit cards again, until there's a TOTAL REFORM in the laws.
Consumers should refuse to pay terms they never agreed to, and picket Washington till we get speedy reform. These blood-suckers don't deserve customers. We should boycott them till their pockets are as empty as they want ours to be. It's a disaster and a national disgrace what they're getting away with. They need to be hauled before every court in the country.
