I received an offer from First National for a credit card. The way that the offer was worded, I thought that it was for a Vias or Mastercard from First National Bank. It turns out that I was very wrong.
When the card arrived in the mail, it was not the Visa or Mastercard that I expected. It's only good for the CCA catalog, and has a $200 activation fee. I've never even heard of CCA, and I do not want to buy things from their catalog.
I called the 800# that evening to cancel the card. 45 minutes later there was still no answer. Figuring that just a busy time of day I decided to call back at 7:00 the next morning. Same result. I was on hold for over an hour with no answer.
Apparently, there is no way to reach these people. There does not seem to be a live person to talk to.
