In august, i was invited to apply for a pre-approved gold credit card with a credit limit of $15,000.00 sounded to good to be true. All i had to do was send in a one-time fee of $37.50. Sounded cheap enough.
All the other credit offers were asking for $200-. With this offer, i was also given the opportunity to apply for a "visa/mastercard" with an initial credit limit of $300.00 the reply came relatively quick. I received (to my surprise) the package with the gold card.
The package included a catalog (which was a joke). There wasn't anything in that catalog great to order! Within two weeks, i did receive a visa card from first national credit with a credit limit of $250.00
But, this first national credit card company located in las vegas, nv is in no way connected with the company who sent me this gold card.
I have called 411, operators in ca, etc to no avail. This place in aliso viejo, ca is totally non-exsistent.
I did however get somebody's attention. The check i sent (unfortunately) to them for 37.50 wasn't paid the first time around. I was going to stop payment on it, but they just cashed it on february 1. I did get a telephone number from my credit union 949-440-4190. Yes, you guessed it, nobody answers the phone. It has a pre-recorded message that says: "you're call can't be answered at this time call later.
