It seems that CapitalFirst is really good at playing hide and seek with money. I, too, was ripped off by them and am having a hard time getting my money back.
They had assured me that I had 7 days after getting my packet of information to decide whether I wanted to keep the "services" or not. I got my packet on May 27, and the money was taken out of my account on May 28. Not quite seven days!
When I went to my bank, they told me that I was at least the fourth person that had been in that week with the same problem. The bank tried reversing the charges, but that wouldn't work, either.
I was led to believe that this was a real mastercard, and since I am trying to rebuild my credit, this sounded like a dream come true - turns out it is a heck of a nightmare!
I have been fighting since May to get my money returned, but they keep telling me that they haven't gotten my letters that I have been sending them. Since the company I work (worked?) for has filed bankruptcy, I am out of income and seemingly out of at least $160 to this rip-off company.
