Well, my story is probably about the same as other people that have filed here. My wife received a phone call one morning with someone pitching a great way to rebuild our credit. I was very skeptical when she asked me what I thought. I asked for the phone and talked to the person myself and she swore up and down that we'd only receive a debit of $29.95. I agreed. A couple of weeks later we received a call from First Capital claiming to have the wrong address, we verified and they assured us that the card would be in our hands in no more than 5 days. This was 2 weeks ago (14 days). Since then we've received the typical charges of $59.95 and $99.95. When I called the infamous number listed on our statement and asked who the company was they REFUSED to tell me without me giving the yet more information. This is when I decided to try and look up their number and research it through http://www.google.com (which is where this site came in through the query I requested). As of this time, my wife and I will get our money back, but not with any help from First Capital. They were useless on the telephone and when asked if they had any kind of recorded authorization they declined to comment, yet still said that the 3 charges were justified when our bank thought otherwise and helped us out - Closing our current account and opening a new one to prevent this wonderful company with so much integrity from taking more of our hard earned money. Running an Internet Service for several years I've never been ripped off and I've always been carefull. The first time I let my guard down I was taken for a ride.
