US Bank
Rediculous Overdraft Charges

I am a female business owner, and have a very small business, and was excited to open a new business account with US Bank out of Henderson, NV.
I have only had the account opened for a month, and followed their procedures for depositing checks that would be held for 5 days. Until my account was opened the first month.
I am in design so I get a lot of checks from people for deposits, etc.

I have passed the grace period, and go into the bank daily to make deposits.
I usally ask for my account balance and with my deposit the same teller will give me my account balance on my receipt.
Not ever knowing this or being told just after the fact apparently the bank holds deposits for a business day or they hold a part of the deposit giving you $100.00 from a $800.00 deposit. My business account never showing a negative balance along with items coming in, US bank charged my account over $200.00 in overdrafts, of course there wasn't anyone to talk to over 4th of July weekend, so on Monday promptly called my bank branch and spoke to someone who explained there was nothing they could do and they would continue to charge my account $200.00 a day until I pay them.
I instucted the bank to close my account and they said they couldn't until I pay them the overdraft charges which continue to climb on a daily basis.
This is outrageous!!!
Its bad enough in this economy to even have any type of business and banks are allowed to just keep charging my account on a daily basis without any items postings just their overdrafts charges that someone gets off on sitting there on a computer.

Great country!!!
