After authorizing a "one time" checking debit for th application fee, I thought more about it and wondered, "Who in the world can offer a lifetime 0% APR?"
Since Capital First calld on a weekend, I got up early on Monday morning, called my bank and stopped payment on the check, and confirmed with the banking rep. For my bank the ONLY debit from my account that I authorize is a legitimate expense for car insurance.
My rep. Told me not to rush out and change my account number yet. They (my bank) told me no authorizations will be paid except the auto insurance.
Capital First will not get their $29.95. The stop payment cost me $25, a bargain to avoid future nightmares. If anyone has another reason to change my account, I would be interested in knowing.
