Oct 1, the last payment of $400 was to be taken out of my account for my Truck payment.instead, 5/3 Bank removed $2570.07 on Oct 1.
I contacted them immediately expecting this new Bank in the area to correct their mistake. I was told that this "maybe" a baloon at the end of my loan. It was not. They stated they would have to research it.
3 weeks went by before they supposidly knew what the problem was. They said "It's not a baloon payment, it was forced INSURANCE!" I would have to provide proof of insurance from 2002. Well, I did just that. After going through all of my paper work, I provided PROOF that I did infact have insurance for that year, but I went farther and provided proof through 2004. They said they'd get back with me.
2 weeks went by and I get the call that they know I had insurance and are awaiting reimbursement from the insurance company. How is this MY fault???
2 more weeks go by and now I'm in need of the money when a call comes in from the Branch Manager stating: "You now have to provide proof of Insurance to date".
Okay enough is enough. This bank is never going to return my money! I'm on Social Security and they are taking it all.
Don't do business with 5/3 Bank!
