I was ripped of off points earned on my chase rewards credit card. They gave me points in August stmts and stripped them away in September's stmt. Customer service didn't know there was a MAX amount of points to earn for rewards when I called in June and September. I was only told you have 36 months to use them and now a letter was sent in September that they mistakenly forgot about the MAX points and took them away. The credit card statement doesn't even mention a MAX or accumulation of a MAX so you know when you don't earn points. This means there's no way to track the reward max points on the monthly statement unless you do it yourself each month. Chase is a ripoff company that I don't recommend, plus they don't properly train staff about their rules. I wouldn't never charged items on my card if I knew the reward points were maxed out. This is fraud and chase should be audited for concealing the MAX reward rule.
