I received a summons today from Asset Acceptance for a credit card account that was charged off in July. They state the last payment received was January 11, though I can't see how that is possible if it was charged off in July. Asset Acceptance purchased the account on 926. I now have a court date on October 12th and am in need of serious advice and guidance. Please, anyone who can offer advice I will be grateful to you. Thank you.
