I have been a customer for about nine years or more. My account had been open since Bank of America was Fleet and Summit. It wasn't until it changed to Bank of America that I had problems.
I have been receiving a $34 overdraft free for every overdraft regardless of amount. I remember once receiving an overdraft fee on a 10 cent overdraft. I complained and was told that even if the overdraft is one cent, you are charged $34.
For years this has gone on. Now, I don't think it is right to overdraw your account, but there have been times when it was caused by the way they rearrange the order of payments. They will pay something that came in last and keep the first charge for weeks at a time.
Today, I was told by a telephone representative that they are only supposed to charge an overdraft fee on charges of $3 or more. So, now I don't know what to do about the years of overdraft charges on amounts that were not only less than $3, but less than $1.
