I just received a phone call about 2 hours ago from a representative from Capital Financial. Like someone mentioned earlier in their report, I also checked the website to find more information on this company and was led to this site. I am trying to rebuild my credit also, and was eager to try them out. They're supposed to take the $200 fee out of my bank account on the 24th of this month, and send vouchers, etc.
So now, after this discovery, I quickly called my bank to let them know what had happened. The representative at my bank told me that all I could do at this point was to close my current checking account and open a new one. This is such a terrible headache now because I don't know what will happen if this company decides to use the information (all of my info: social security, bank info, mothers maiden name...) to open up all kinds of credit under my name! Or sell my identity! I have a paycheck coming in this week (direct deposit), so I'm really in a pickle.
What was I thinking!? Even though it is a blessing that I found this website within a couple of hours "after" making this mistake, I still don't know what's going to happen afterwards. I guess I'll have to check my credit report "twice" a month now!
