These people called me and stated they were Capital One and had a stated that I was approved for a credit card value at $2,000 and if interested I must verify checking account and other information. I did just that and they told me that my credit card would be sent out as well as 4 $50 vouchers to use towards payment of my credit card.
A few hours later I called them back and requested to cancel my stuff. The representative stated that she would cancel everything and gave me a confirmation number. 2 weeks later I received this large manilla envelope with a few catalogs and a Capital Financial Card with just numbers, but also 4 weeks later my bank account was missing $200.
I went to my bank to ask where that transaction came from and they verified that it came from the Capital Finacial Card company. I attempted to file a dispute with it but was told that I would have to contact the company.
I did just that and the company stated they would refund my money back into my checking account and would take up to 30 days. 30 days later nothing so I called the company again and another agent stated that my account was still open and nothing was refunded that she saw. I requested to talk to the manger but the manager was not available and everyday sometimes 5 or 6 times a day I would call and still nothing.
