Bank of America has an electronic funds transfer processing system that at the end of the business day auto re-arranges transactions that were made thought out the day to maximize the potential amount of profit to be made from account over drafts. I spoke with a representative about the changes made to my account, and was told it was standard practice for the bank to do so, because it was in the customers best interest. I believe that this is an illegal act and that Bank of America should be held accountable for such practices.
