Litton Loan Servicing is the third mortgage company that our mortgage has been sold to. Rules seemed to have changed when our loan came to Litton. Adjustable rate mortgage instead of fixed, they keep raising out rate seems like every 2-3 months. Husband laid off, got behind on mortgage.
Contacted Litton by phone, letter, and email the first contact more then a year ago. Requested help, wanted them to send us a foreclosure so we could withdraw the money out of 401K. They waited this long, now we don't have enough money in there to cover what we are behind.
But it seems thats the way they have it planned out. Now they want the full sum in 45 days. We are currently debating whether to what we have out, and start paying again on our mortgage in July. But afraid they will still foreclose. Don't know if there' anything we can do.
