Litton Loan Servicing ignoring us completely

About seven months ago, our interest rate was raised on our home to more then 9%. This raised our mortgage to $500.00 a month more than what we were paying. Obviously this is not something we can afford. We contacted Litton Loan Servicing right away and submitted all paperwork to do a loan modification. The first time around, they lost the paperwork and so we submitted everything twice. As of now. No one is calling us back and nothing has been done to resolve our issue. We have been paying our previous mortgage rate every month since this is all we can pay. We do not want to loose our home.

Every time we contacted them, we have been given run-arounds and no one wants to talk to us directly. We have been receiving threatening letters that our mortgage is in delinquent status and when we call someone to discuss our situation nothing gets done.

Basically we have been contacting someone by the name of Monica Duran. She works in the Loss Mitigation department in Litton Loan Servicing. Right now, if we call and put in our social security info, we get her extension. We are trying to save our home and our case has been assigned to her. After a bunch of emails and phone calls, there is absolutely no response from her. This has been going on for over a month now. We are just lost and don’t know what to do.
