Scam Ripoff

I received a letter in the mail telling me that I was pre-approved for a credit card with a $10,000 credit limit. All I needed was to send in a check for $37. I sent in a money order (which was not smart on my part) and 2 1/2 weeks later I received a packet in the mail from them. It was *not* a credit card. It's a paper membership card giving me a $10,000 credit limit to their catalogue of retailers.
