I'm a disabled Vetran, and I want to know why these people are still in business. I have bought a home from Mr & Mrs Ray Hepton, who had a mortgage with Vanderbilt, on June 18 1998. On this day my lawyer sent a check to Vanderbilt to pay off what Mr & Mrs Hepton owed. So I thought once it was paid off the title would go to my bank, didn't think much of it until 3 months after I paid it off and got no title to the mobile home only the deed to the land. Called Vanderbilt they said yes that it was paid, but they could't send the title to us without a letter from the Heptons. Heptons moved I don't know where. Vanderbilt said sorry they could't do anything about it I need help with this. I don't drive and can't get there to get my title. NC motor vehicle said inorder to get title they have on file with the Hepton's name I need to get three surveys I can't afford this. I Need help is there anyone out there who can help me
