NPMG Credit Card Processor
Ripoff, fraud, coersion, outright dishonesty, misrepresentation

On January 17 Jon Cannon and Spencer - his apprentice, conducted a meeting with me and said they could save money by processing the credit cards directly instead of using a middleman. He also said that my credit card machine was too old to use their software and we would need to get a new one.

I told him that we could go ahead and do the paperwork but that I wanted a five day waiting period written into the contract so that I could check a few things. He said that was fine and actually wrote on the top copy of the contract of this stipulation.

After checking into this whole deal I found we could use our own machine and we were still under onctract with tour previous credit card machine. Also the price of the new machine, he wanted us to purchase, would be much highier than what should be paid. I called one and a half days later and let Jon know that we needed to not process the paperwork. Jon called me back and said that he would take care of it.

Not more than 3 days later I recieved the a Verifone credit card machine in the mail. I called the Verifone compony and they said to take it up with NPMG. I called Jon and he returned my call and said not to worry about it and we could just send it back lator. That was the last I heard of John, so I talked and/or e-miled Brandon, Nick Thompson, and Deanna. I also talked with at least 2 other people but I didn't write their names down.

Deanna said that the processing of the paperwork took place the day that I signed the paperwork and that Jon had not waited to process this paperwork. Deanna also stated that I had signed this paperwork and that it would have to honored. I told her that the orignal paperwork had 5-day waiting period and she went back to the same point that I had signed the paperwork. After much discussion i asked for her superviosr to please give me a call and of course that never happened.

Brandon, the quality control person, e-mailed me and he said I would have to honor the contract and that I would still save money and to look at that wonderful spread sheet that Jon had made. I e-mailed him that the orginal contract had the 5 day waiting clause in there but that it was not on my copy but I believe this is due to the fact that Jon used a felt tipped pen to write the clauses on the contract so now I have to go to Phoenix to try and get this whole thing fixed.

I believe this is the equivilent of being slammed by one of the phone companies. I will probably end up with arbitration or in the courts.

I wouldn't use this company if they paid me to stay with them; they lied, misrepresented themselves, and did not honor their contracts. I will be contacting the Arizona Attorney General shortly.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
