Consumers beware. This week-end I received our credit card bill from Bank of America. I was going over the charges and noticed a charge for $99.99, from some type of travel service.
We called the customer service number for the credit card, and the young lady was very aware of these people, but could not, nor would not help us. She knew exactly who they were, even told us they weren't open on the week-ends!
When you open your bill from these people, please look at all of the "flyers" that are inserted with the bill. Up to this point, I just threw them away; I have no interest in buying diamond rings, or whatever, through any of this type of advertisement. Well, you better look at all of them. Apparently, they have in small print that if you DONT return the "slip", they will automatically charge your credit card.
We, of course, are contesting it and will let you know what happens.
BEWARE! Look at everything these crooks send along with your bill. They're in it together and making money off of people that are looking at every piece of paper included with the bill.
