Ok, I put in for a student loan over a year ago. I started getting bills for the loan almost immediately. I got a request for like 10$ a month to pay for the processing fee's. I thought ok, good chance to pay a little extra on the loan. So instead of paying 10$ we started paying 100$ we were doing that for about 6 months then they asked if we wanted to continue to pay the loan we said yes and they said they would contiue to bill me. What they didn't say was they were going to bill me via my email address, which I never put on the application but they claim I did and the one on their's was not even my email address. They charge me interest while they were billing this email account and when I brought it up to them the woman I spoke to said that techincally they don, t even have to send me a bill at all.
Now I lose my job and I ask for a forbearance so I can pay it when I get my unemployment check. They say sure, sent me the paperwork and tell me to fill it out. I do, I send it back. First they can't find it then they even ask me if sent it in. Then someone finds it and tells me that they are going to put in. Now I get a phone call almost 3 weeks later and they tell me no, I can't have a forbearance because I didn't give a reason.
So now I am trying to get a loan through the bank to just pay these thieves off. Figures something that Bill Clinton would try to push through would end up being run by thieves. THANKS BILL you got me as well as Monica
