I came in to write a check as an advance on my next pay check. The store employee told me I could not write for an amount I had previously be able to write for. I asked why, and this was a mistake.
The woman began telling me that I was trying to make her lose her job, and I was telling her how to do her job, when I was in no way trying to jepordize her job.
I have been a customer there since this woman has only worked there since 2004. I feel that she was targeting me because I am white, and she is hispanic. I feel that because of that, she didn't want to help me.
I tried to speak to the owner, since she was the only one there, but the employee was unable to make it so I could speak to the owner over the phone, and told me she could not give the owners number to me, and would not take my number so the owner could call me.
I filed a report with the BBB, and plan on doing all I can to make sure this woman can't treat another customer as she treated me. If you can't ask an employee a question, without getting incredibly unreasonable responses, that employee should not work there.
I feel like there is no recourse for her actions. Because of this, a company I have been loyal to for three years will now lose my business.
