Tonight I went though the drive through at Arby's and forgot to split my order while ordering. I got to the window and apologized and I asked if I could pay for part on a card and part in cash. The woman at the window was obviously new and she was unsure of how to do that. She asked for assistance from a co-worker. The co-worker came to window an raised her voice at me with the worst attitude and said "uh we can't do that." I asked if she couldn't make it two orders because I needed it spilt to be able to pay for it. My apologies for fogetting while I was ordering but it an easily resolved issue. When I asked if she couldn't split my order she continued to give me attitude screaming to the kitchen staff that I messed up and and that they were not to make the next order coming through. I understand they needed to know not to make it but it could have been done in a much more respectful manner. Customers should never be treated like they are doing something wrong when trying to purchase dinner for the family, giving money to the company. Customers should never be treated that way period. I should have left my food and spent my money somewhere they would appreciate my business. She was also giving attitude and raising her voice to the confused employee working the register. I've worked for three company's as a new employee and it is very hard and discouraging when fellow co-workers treat you badly while you are trying to learn and grow with your company. Employees should never be treated with disrespect like that, especially in front of employees. The woman working the register asked for assistance again because the computer was messing up. The woman said "OMG" rolled her eyes and walked away shaking her head. Once again employees should never be treated that way.! I must say the new employee working the register was very very nice and I am very sorry that she has to work with that. I will never ever visit that Arby's again and I hope the new employee finds a better job where she is treated with respect.
