My husband and I were trying to get a debt consolidation loan when we came across Springfield Lending Group. After applying for the loan, we were informed by Brenda Langford that we were approved for $10,000.00, but because of our credit score we needed to purchase creditor's insurance. The amount to be sent was $1800.00, and it cost us another $101.06 to send it. I sentit by money gram to a man named Randy Black in Ottawa Canada.
After finding out they had recieved the money, I was told that the $10,000 would be in our checking account the next day... Well... It wasn't... Or the next... Or the next. After trying numerous times to contact Brenda, i finally got ahold of another lady who said Brenda got in trouble because they are not suppose to promise their clients that they will recieve their money in 24 hours and she told me to give it a few more days, which I did, and still no money. Then I tried to call back and it would pick up and say, " Hello, thanks for calling, goodbye". And that is it. I can not reach anyone since then.
We were just trying to better our family with that loan. We have three kids and no bills got paid, no groceries bought, checks bounced at the bank. This was back in October and we are still suffering from the effects of losing that money we sent them.
We even checked with the BBB before we did it and there were no complaints found on them. Somebody has got to stop them before they hurt another family.
