Quicken loans is refusing to refund a " Good Faith " $500.00 that was required when applying for a loan. The Loan person stated that if a loan is granted and if we take another loan from another company that this $500.00 would be charged to our charge card - We were looking for a new home - no new home was found, and we were going to continue however, I noticed that this was charged to the charge card - I contacted Quicken loan to have it removed and they refused and stated that if a loan is aquired in the future that it will be credited — I told them NO I want it credited now - This loan person said it was the credit departments falt and they do not know how to do that - I now am having the charge card company trying to get the money back - Don't make the same mistake - Do not use Quicken
I will update this report to tell everyone if I am refunded the $500.00 when this happens.
