Ripoff, unresponsive, deceptive, dishonest

I refinanced through a mortage broker in early August. Ocwen is the mortgage company. For a new job I was required to relocate and I needed to sell my condo.

My closing attorney contacted Ocwen on 10/5/05 for a payoff letter. Ocwen responded that they needed 5 days to order the documets from their custodian. The day before the closing, 10/24/05, I was informed that the payoff letter had not been sent.

My attorney asked me to contact Ocwen, since he and his assistants could not get any information from them.

I spoke to two agents in India before I demanded to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor then conected me to a Customer Service Agent in Florida, Mr. Jamie Ciavarro. Mr. Ciavarro told me he would help me.

The day of closing, I still had not recived a payoff letter. I contacted Mr, Ciavarro. Jamie Ciavarro, the Customer Service agent asked me to fax documets to him needed for the payoff letter. Mr. Ciavarro called to let me know that he recieved the information and that everything was in order. He stated taht he would go to the Payoff Dept and have the payoff letter sent. That was on 10/26/05. I have not heard from him since.

I have left many messages for him to call me, but I am being ignored.

I will continue to call every day, every hour to leave a message.
