I was contacted by someone claiming to be from advantage america, stating my name was chosen to recieve a grant by the federal government in the amount of $12,500.00. They said I would recieve $500.00 in grocery coupons as well as free long distance for 10 days and after that all I had to do was call an 800 number to cancel. They asked for my address and bank info. The next day they called back and said others that were chosen for these grants were no longer available and they wanted to know if I was interested in recieving an additional $12,000.00.
The representative spoke with a very heavy accent and when I asked her name she said it was Shawn Williams. (Go figure)
I don't know these people are going to be stopped but something needs to be done A.S.A.P.
