Bank of America is screwing up my wife's credit even more than it was already screwed up due to my CH 7 Bankruptcy. Despite numerous disputes to the Credit Bureaus they continue to report that my wife still has a balance of $11,233 on a credit card even though it is supposed to read $0 since it was discharged in the bankruptcy.
They will not change it. It is reported as delinquent in some reports and charged off as bad debt in others but still lists the balance. Not only does this screw her credit more but it also opens up the opportunity that eventually a collection agency will get this account and I'll have to play games with them.
If there is anything I can do please let me know because they keep telling the credit bureaus that the info is correct even though I have been told by my BK attorney that they are required to $0 the balance.
