I asked for a 1 payment deferment because my father was dying. Which I needed the money to pay for his funeral. I didn't want any late payments showing on my credit report so that is why I requested the deferment. They told me that I would have to be 3 payments behind in order to get that deferment. Of course that is when most mortgage companies start forclosure. I am currently behind on 1 payment which I tried to pay today on autopay but they wold not accept payment.
It has been a difficult time with the passing of my father and they refuse to work with me under my circumstances.
