On Nov 1 my husband fell into a hole and required immediate emergency care. We went to the closest place that was allowed by my insurance provider Starbridge HRG. That was Hood river Providence hospital.
They wanted to do xrays to make sure it wasnt broken. Normal procedures when you have an emergency. They also suggested that we follow up with a orthopedic surgeon to make sure there are no significant tears and my husband was sent home with a splint.
STARBRIDGE HRG has yet to pay either one of these bills amounting to @ $300.00. If my insurance company says they pay emergencies then don't "Aren't they liable?". I mean it's been seven months of fighting with them to pay this and having the hospital resubmit the claim only to have them say. "oh you weren't covered during that time"
When I was and had my deductions on my paycheck to prove it. Or another excuse is "we don't see the claim here at all". That's the latest one. Now my husband called them and magically the claim was found. They are reviewing it but I doubt they will pay it. "What do I do?" I can't pay these bills!!!
