I have been a member of Credit Expert for sometime now and it was nice having the ablity to check my credit report as much as I want for 1 low monthly fee. However, in Feburary 2005 they updated their website, which it now charges $14.95 for each credit report requested, which is supposed to be free.
I have sent more than 10 e-mails and 10 phone calls to them and they have yet to fix the problem. I have filed a complaint with the BBB of Southern California and then Credit Expert cancelled my account because of the complaint.
I have several friends who also have the same problem with Credit Expert and they too are going to start filing out complaints. I called Credit Expert when I got the cancellation e-mail, however, it turned into a screaming match and they would not transfer me to a supervisor.
