We lived in our home for eight years and made our payments on time. The company i worked for went out of buissnes. I fell behind two months. I called ocwen to see what could be done to get caught back up. Nathon rich sent me papers to fill out and send back I did that. I didnt hear a word from him so I tried to call him every day for another two weeks. When he did return my calls he said i needed to come up with two payments. I was able to get the two payments and send them in. I was told that I would get a new payment amount and did not reicive any thing. I tried to contact him but he was never at his desk or so i was told. A month after that i reicive a letter from ocwen that they would not accept the two payments i was told to send. When i tried to call anybody at ocwen all i would get is voice mail, No matter how many times i called{up to 5 times a day} nobody would call back.
The only thing i could do is talk to a lawyer who said all i could do is file bankruptcy, they came up a $1300.00 payment, it was hard going from $1100.00 to $1300.00 but was able to do it. When i went to court ocwen, s lawyers said that the payments would have to go up to $1700.00 a month, what choice did i have. We were contacted by a kristie belford from ocwen to drop the bankruptcy to set up apayment plan so the bankruptcy would not be on my credit report. She sent papers to fill out and wanted a copy of the petition to voluntarily dismiss chapter 13 proceeding i did that and recived a call from her, she said that she desided not to help us. And here i am waiting for the sheriff to come and kick me my wife two kids and two grand children out on the street, all because pepole at ocwen say one thing and do another. Had nathen rich or kristie belford had they done what they said i wouldnt be here today please if you are buying a homesave your self a lot trouble and dont go with ocwen. I hope the people at ocwen open their eyes and see what is happening around them.
