Ripoff threatened foreclosure have not credited payments will not respond to phone calls or correspondence

My loan was sold to Ocwen in November. I was notified of this 15 days after I had sent my November payment to my old servicer. My December bill from Ocwen showed that I owed for November and December. I called. They told me this was typical and "not to worry" because nothing would be reported for 90 days. This continued to happen on a monthly basis with me calling every month. The late fees started to add up. Each time I called it would take me at least 5 minutes to get a real person. Then, I would have to ask them over and over to slow down and repeat themselves because no one seems to speak English very well. I would never be off the phone in less than 20 minutes and many times it would be an hour.

They were always going to "research" the problem and fix it. I received one piece of mail stating that the payment in question had been researched and the payment had since been received and credited to my account. I thought that meant that everything was ok & UNTIL I got my next statement. More late fees and still showed an additional payment due. I finally faxed copies of all of my cancelled checks to a guy by the name of "nandi". No response. I got notification that I had defaulted on my mortgage and that foreclosure proceedings would begin if I didn't make it right. I got the name of the President, Director, and CFO (Christine Reich) and wrote her a certified letter. To date (April 5) I have received no response. I sent her all the documentation and copies of my February fax as well as all cancelled checks.

Yesterday (4/4/05) I received notification that my loan had been sent to the Early Intervention department. I called that number — listened to a VERY LONG AND REPETITIVE message and FINALLY got a service representative. Her name was Victoria - however, I couldn't understand her either. She said "computer say that you are THREE MONTHS behind." I nearly lost it. I told her that I absolutely was NOT three months behind and I had the cancelled checks to prove it. She repeated herself again "computer say that you are three months behind." I asked for her last name and the name of her supervisor and also asked where she was located (what country, etc.). SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! What kind of a crooked company is this? I work three jobs just to make ends meet. I can't afford this kind of fraud. Can someone out there do something to stop this company? Ocwen should be shut down.
