I too have been ripped-off by ccb. I have been arguing with these people since july. I have gotten no help from them. They have now sent it to a collection company because i reused to pay their crazy fees. The first bill i received from the company after activating the card, put me over my credit limit with different fees that i was unaware of. I believe i was over limit $4.34. But they charged me a $30 over limit. I believe they should have waved that amount due to their fees causing it. During the time i was trying to settle the matter the payment on the account was late so they added another $30 over limit and a $30 late fee. I sent two payments to them trying to get it below limit so i would have time to get things straightened out and they said those payment were also late (they shouldnt have been) and added the same $60 the next statement. They have been adding $60 every month plus finance charges. I have had many conversations with them with no results. They tell me they can lower the amount which is now at $798 to $576 if i pay $288 now and $288 within 30 days. And then i will hear no more from them. Well i guess not cause they would have won. This is not an option for me. I have other bills to meet and this one is not at the top of the list being that they are not fair in their business practices. I have five other credit cards of which i have never had any problems with. I had them before i got the ccb card. This card is causing me problems already with credit. I am looking for someone who has found a way to deal with these people. Is there some sort of class action or place i can call to get help in settling this matter in a more sensible manner. I have even offered to pay all the fees they added if they take off all the late fees and start it back to the balance in july. They can keep the two payments amounting to over $100 that i have sent. But they will not work with me. It is their way or no way... Please if you know of a solution... Help!
