I got a Call at home around the 1st of January. Spectra Financial Benefits Service offered me a $2000 credit card. O% interest for 3 yrs then 12% after that for life. No annual fees etc. They wanted me to verify my SS# I said I didn't feel comfortable giving that info over the phone. He said if I didn't at least give them my DL # they couldn't be sure I was who I said I was. I said how do I know you're who you say you are? Anyway, like an idiot I gave them my DL# and permission to draft the $249 fee from my checking account. I feel so stupid. I don't have very good credit at all so when they told me I was absolutely approved for $2000 no if ands or buts... I bit! At least I know now that I'm not the only idiot, no offense to anyone. Apparently there are a whole bunch of us who fell for te same line. Everytime I try to call their phone number 1-866-202-5077, I get an automated voice saying everyone is busy. Leave a message. Of course they don't call you back. The first time I called I thought something was fishy when the phone was answered "Hello" What kind of business does that? Since then no answer, EVER!
