National Credit Acceptance
Illegally sued me and eleven other people in Nevada without being licensed as a collection agency

National Credit Acceptance (NCA) is a "dummy corporation, " according to Black's Law Dictionary, a "corporation formed for sham purposes and not for conduct of legitimate business."

The State of Idaho, Department of Finance, put an ORDER TO CEASE AND DESIST on NCA on August 9 for illegally operating in Idaho, and NCA did not dispute this order.

On the three Statement of Information papers, NCA lists the street address of their principal executive office, the street address of their business address, their mailing address, and the home adress of the Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, Chief Financial Officer, Director (all the same person), C. Catamay, with two different reports, and two different signatures in at 1731 Howe Ave., #254, Sacramento, CA 95845.

This address is a mailbox at Mailboxes, Etc. If you want to serve the company with legal papers, you can't serve them in person.

NCA has illegally sued eleven people in Nevada, through their Sacramento attorney, Catherine Woodbridge, of the law firm of Powers & Miller, has coerced, intimidated, and attacked people in writing, refusing to follow the laws of the Fair Debt Collection Practices for Verification of the Debt (a copy of the original, dated signature of the original contract).

NCA has illegally seized protected assets, such as Social Security Income, from one Defendant. They are trying to hit me with over $800 in sanctions in court because they are trying to file a protective order against me to deny me information about the company.

In order to operate as a collection in Nevada, both NCA, Woodbridge, and Powers & Miller, and their are required to get a Nevada license to operate as a collection agency, if they are suing people and setting up debtor's hearing, and they have failed to do this.

Without a license in Nevada, collections can only be limited to mail, fax, and phone. I confirmed this with an executive from the Federal Trade Commission, where you can file a complaint against NCA.

There are no laws regarding collection agencies in California, and NCA can operate there from a drop box, with no accountability.

They are buying the debt for as little as 1.5%, that is, if you have a $10,000 debt, they are purchasing it for $150, and hitting you with the full amount, plus interest and attorney fees, engaging in a form of extortion.

I am a freelance reporter, and am writing an article on them, which will be published in March.
