I have read a lot about this company on this site and I need help. I know the info I need is in one of the postings, I just don't know which one to look at. I had my credit pulled by a bank while applying for a mortgage. There is a debt through Allied Interstate that was reported in 12/04 for $70 to DirectTV. I have had Dish Network for at least 5 years and have NEVER heard of owing Direct TV any money.
I have dealt with Allied before on a previous debt and it was HELL. That was one I know I paid off and it took them 2 years to report it and get it cleared. I don't know what to do about getting this taken care of. I would just pay the $70 but I don't think that would be the end of it, knowing what I know. Please advise me on what to do.
