I can't begin to state how absolutely disgusted I am with Utilities Inc (more like "Incompetent Inc" or "Jackass Inc"). I'm not upset with the cost of my service, but I am livid with the way they conduct business.
I get paper bills EVERY MONTH from EVERY COMPANY TO WHOM I OWE MONEY... EXCEPT UTILITIES INC. Since I've lived at my current location, I've had NOTHING, BUT PROBLEMS. They don't send me a paper bill. They haven't in months, eventhough they claim otherwise.
In addition, they refuse to take American Express as a form of payment BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO CHEAP TO PAY THE FEE. I can't pay my bill online without a convenience fee. You'd think that getting their payment immediately wouldn't cost ME extra money, but it does. So, I have never signed up for auto payment.
So, because THEY REFUSE TO DO THEIR JOBS and send me a paper statement like I've requested since becomming a customer, I've been forced to receive e-statements sent to me in my email. Just recently, these e-statements STOPPED. I have asked repeatedly for at least an e-statement, but all I get is lip service. In fact, I have had SEVERAL THREATENING DOOR TAGS PLACED ON MT FRONT DOOR SINCE BECOMMING A CUSTOMER STATING THAT MY SERVICE WOULD BE SHUT OFF IF I DO NOT PAY THEM IMMEDIATELY.
It is NOT my responsibility to ensure that they send a bill. In fact, it is only my responsibility as a customer to PAY the bill when it arrives. Not according to Utilities Inc. I've been on the phone with those JACKASSES several times today, trying to get late fees taken off of my account for which they were responsible.
After getting hung up on several times by their sorry excuses for customer service employees, I finally got someone to remove their crooked late fees. However, not without being told that this would be the only time they would be removed, which suggested to me that they are planning on messing with me further. So, after hearing that somewhat positive news, I payed the bill with my non-Amex, and I was told that my account was paid in full. UTILITIES INC. NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, INEPT THUGS.I cannot wait to move out of their service area.
