This company is the definition of inefficiency and apathy. For the past 3 months I have tried everything to have late fees waived when their bill was sent to the service address though they were instructed to send the bill to the corporate office in another state. I telephoned and explained the situation with the mailing address and was told it would go to management for review. I paid the bill for the 3 months of charges and deducted the late fees. The following month I received the bill for the current charges with a balance forward of the late fees and another late fee was added because the previous late fees were not paid with the last bill. To make a long story short, I have been battling this company since October, including writing a letter explaining the situation which was copied to the apartment complex. The current charges were paid and the late fees deducted again. This month I received a bill with another late fee and balance forward of the late fees. I called again and received the same excuse of not their fault, the late fees would not be waived. I called the apartment manager who was not going to take responsibility for the error of not giving them the correct billing address and the late fees stand. If you are looking for a new residence, BEWARE of any company that uses NWP Services Corporation to bill their utilities. NWP's Customer Service is difficult to do business with and disputing any charge is a waste of time. You may ask to speak to a supervisor and you will get the same treatment. I suggest going to the BBB if you have a dispute as you will spend months trying to get resolution with this company and its representatives only to end up at the BBB in the end.
