After 14 years of being a loyal customer, paying on time, I requested to waive the late fee as I was less than 24 hours late as well as the interest fee, since I always spend a lot of money every month with American Express. I was told they were unable to that since over 12 months the fee had been waived. I called them on 28 December - it's a new year and I spent over $38,000 with the card in 6 months. Lulu was the acct rep and she was neither helpful, friendly or spoke English very well. Very disappointed and will now just use my bank credit card. I will be contacting American Express to stop my Gold card. Not worth it if there is no loyalty to good clients
